Baidyanath Dham temple in Deoghar, Jharkhand, is located at approximately 24°29ʹ33ʺN latitude and 86°42ʹ00ʺE longitude. The temple has an average elevation of about 247 meters (833 feet) above sea level.

Deoghar (Baidyanath Dham- one of the twelve revered Jyotirlingas, sacred shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva) is one of most popular Hindu pilgrimage centres in India. It is located in the Santhal Parganas division of the Indian state of Jharkhand. Deoghar is an ancient town famous for its group of 22 temples dedicated to the Hindu god Lord Shiva.

*Jasidih junction is the main station at an approximate 7 km distance and it will take 10 to 15 minutes in covering it from main city of Deoghar serving the satellite town of Deoghar city in Deoghar District. It is well connected with other cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ranchi, Patna, Varanasi and Bhubaneswar etc. of the country as well.
